FFXIV Arrives on Switch 2 This August With a Separate Subscription
Final Fantasy XIV Online is arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 this August, kicking off with a one-month free early access period; after that you’ll need a standalone Switch 2 subscription (existing players get 50% off and can keep their characters). You do not need Nintendo Switch Online to play. The Switch 2 port coincides with the announcement of the Evercold expansion for January 2027, with more details to come on the official site.
