Ex-BioWare Veterans Build New Game World Through Podcast-First Development
Former BioWare narrative/cinematics veterans have formed North Mist Studios in Canada and are developing their first game by sharing worldbuilding through The Concierge, a narrative podcast. The studio is using the prequel audio dramas (and a Patreon) to crowdsource funding and publicize the game’s universe before a finished product or vertical slice, with an in-engine trailer planned for this summer.
