A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base, illuminating the night sky with its exhaust plume and supporting the deployment of 28 Starlink satellites, which can sometimes be seen as a train of lights in the sky, and was accompanied by reports of a sonic boom across Southern California.
