Coffee Stain Studios announced Satisfactory: Core Values, the game's first major paid expansion, during the Big Break Showcase on September 29, 2026. The DLC shifts gameplay underground into cavernous biomes on the planet MASSAGE-2(A-B)b, introducing new resources, creatures, and a fresh storyline. Unlike the surface, the underground environment features tight spatial constraints and limited lighting, requiring players to master new logistics tools rather than relying solely on traditional conveyor belts. The expansion connects to the base game, allowing players to transfer resources, but introduces distinct machinery and challenges. No release date has been set, though players must reach Tier 3 HUB research to access it. The base game will continue receiving updates, and a Satisfactory board game is also in development.
