Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic is a new single-player RPG (Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS5) set in the Old Republic era, described as a spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic. Arcanaut Studios is leading development, headed by Casey Hudson, with a veteran team including KotOR and Mass Effect alumni such as Dan Fessenden, Melanie Faulknor, Caroline Livingstone, and Ryan Hoyle. While no exact release date is set, the game is targeted to arrive before 2030. Hudson highlighted the team’s deep roots in KotOR and Mass Effect, fueling excitement for a potential return to the beloved saga.
