Aktiia's Hilo Core system, now available in the US, combines an FDA-cleared blood pressure cuff with a slim wristband to continuously monitor BP and provide long‑term insights. After a four‑day calibration, cuff readings establish a baseline and are performed monthly, while the band auto‑reads BP about every 90 minutes (up to 35 readings per day) using optical sensors. The kit costs $90, plus a $150 annual subscription; in Europe it has shown BP reductions.
