FFXIV’s Evercold Expansion Brings Evangelion Crossover, Switch 2 Release, and Major Combat Overhaul

Square Enix unveiled Evercold, the sixth Final Fantasy XIV expansion, at the FFXIV Fan Festival 2026 with a January 2027 launch on PC/Mac/Steam/PlayStation/Xbox and an August Switch 2 release.
