Multiple Flash Flood Warnings Issued in North Carolina and New Jersey
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect in Northern Davidson County, Southeastern Forsyth County, and Northwestern Guilford County in the Triad region of North Carolina. Thunderstorms producing heavy rain have already caused 1-2 inches of rainfall, with an additional 1-2 inches possible. The warning is in effect until 10:35 p.m. and areas including Greensboro, High Point, and Lexington are expected to be impacted. Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads as most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
