Hannaford to pay nearly $9M to settle overtime claims by store managers
Hannaford Supermarkets has agreed to pay nearly $9 million to settle a federal class-action alleging unpaid overtime for middle managers in Northeast stores. The suit, filed in 2024 by a former Lewiston bakery manager, claims violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and seeks class certification to include Hannaford employees in similar roles across the chain.
