Ford is reintroducing traditional two-tone paint options for the 2027 F-150 through its Custom Garage division. The package features a horizontal midband in white, grey, or black that contrasts with the main body color. This option is available for crew cab XLT and Lariat models with 5.5-foot beds, allowing owners to mix any standard paint with the accent band. The design aims to visually lower the perceived height of modern trucks, which often appear taller due to large radiators and raised greenhouse lines. This move marks a return to a styling cue that had largely disappeared from mainstream production trucks in favor of single-color or roof-only accents.
