Ukraine Reveals Mobile FP-1/2 Drone Launcher, Russia Strikes It Days Later
Ukrainian forces released nighttime footage of a tractor-trailer mobile launcher for FP-1/2 drones, showing at least three drones mounted on racks and capable of launches without a runway. Four days later, Russia released footage of a direct strike hitting one of these launchers, prompting questions about security risks from revealing the exact trailer. FP-1/2 drones can reach up to about 1,000 km (FP-1) with a 100 kg warhead or 200 km (FP-2) with a 160 kg warhead, using rocket-assisted takeoff from field positions.
