Chilly and Frosty Weather Ahead for Chicago and Michigan
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze risk and significant frost warning for portions of north central and northeast Illinois, and northwest Indiana, with temperatures expected to drop to the upper 20s to 30s. Chicago's outskirts are also expected to experience widespread frost with temperatures in the low 30s. Rain and snow showers are possible in the Chicago area before noon Tuesday, with a slight chance of rain showers between noon and 1 p.m. More sun is expected in Chicago Wednesday and Thursday until showers return Thursday night.
