TSA PreCheck Members Can Now Enter Airports Without a Ticket
The Transportation Security Administration is allowing TSA PreCheck members to enter secure airport areas without a plane ticket at more than a dozen U.S. locations. This pilot program, known as Gateside by TSA PreCheck, permits trusted travelers to apply one to three days in advance to meet others at the gate or spend time during layovers. The initiative aims to revive pre-9/11 gate-side greetings, though it remains limited to specific airports and eligible individuals.
