Munich Robotics Firm RobCo Doubles Valuation to $1B Amid US Expansion
Munich-based RobCo has reached a $1 billion valuation, doubling its worth in nine months following a secondary share sale and new investment. The company is preparing to launch its autonomous robot, Alfie, in 2027 while aggressively expanding its US operations. RobCo operates on a Robotics-as-a-Service model, allowing manufacturers to deploy AI-driven automation without upfront capital costs. Key investors include Sequoia and Lightspeed, while the company faces rising competition from well-funded rivals like Standard Bots and Walden Robotics.
