A woman from England suffered a knee bone fracture while sitting on the toilet due to a giant cell tumor in her knee. She was diagnosed with the rare and aggressive non-cancerous tumor and had to undergo a knee and thigh bone replacement. The tumor had weakened the bones in her knee as well as the soft tissue surrounding it. She defied the odds and regained full mobility after seven weeks of intense physical therapy and a year of home exercises. She is now urging others to get checked if they feel an ache or pain.
