WWE is weighing a high-profile debut for Blake Monroe by potentially booking her vs Giulia at Sunday Night’s Main Event on Sept. 6 in Atlanta; the match isn’t finalized, as WWE weighs giving Monroe a bigger stage while continuing their feud, following Monroe’s on-air attack and her backstory as Mariah May (AEW Women’s World Champion) and a former NXT North American Champion.
WWE is reportedly considering adding Blake Monroe vs. Giulia to the Sept. 6 Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, potentially giving Monroe her televised main-roster in-ring debut. The bout was initially teased for SmackDown but turned into an angle when Monroe attacked Giulia. Monroe—formerly AEW’s Mariah May and a former NXT Women’s North American Champion—has been teased since WrestleMania 42 but has yet to wrestle on TV since being called up. If added, the card at State Farm Arena, streaming on Peacock, would also include Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker, and Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty, with Trick Williams earning a US title shot if Yachty lasts five minutes.
On SmackDown, Lash Legend defeated Giulia in under three minutes, leveraging size and power to counter Giulia’s speed, giving Legend momentum heading into SummerSlam’s ladder match for the Interim Women’s Championship and setting up a potential clash with Jade Cargill, while Giulia’s WWE footing remains debated despite a strong performance.
Giulia posted a defiant message on X after a two‑minute loss to Lash Legend on SmackDown, a result that sent Legend to the Interim WWE Women’s Championship ladder match at SummerSlam. The loss came after Giulia previously held the WWE United States Championship for 111 days and she has since been active on WWE’s European tour and related programming, signaling her vow to bounce back.
SmackDown 6/12/2026 delivered drama with uneven execution: the Queen of the Ring first-round match was hampered by early interference and botches, Giulia split from Kiana James hinting at a push, the Women’s Tag titles weren’t defended in a non-title bout, Solo Sikoa gave a compelling Bloodline moment while some fans resisted the babyface turn, and Danhausen again delivered a short, goofy standout segment.
Alfa Romeo says the Giulia and Stelvio aren’t canceled; the brand is studying how to update the D-segment models with multi-energy powertrains (hybrid and electric) on flexible platforms, possibly the STLA Large, while expanding the lineup with a new compact model and a Junior SUV; launches will come when design, tech, and engineering alignment is achieved.

WWE removed the planned Women’s United States Championship match between Giulia and Tiffany Stratton from SmackDown on April 17, 2026, replacing it with a No.1 Contender’s bout: Tiffany Stratton vs. Jordynne Grace, with the winner earning a future title shot at Giulia; the rest of the WrestleMania go-home card remains, and no reason was given for pulling the title match.
On SmackDown, Giulia defeated Tiffany Stratton with a roll-up after Stratton’s rough swanton, then joked that she actually peed a lot from the spot; Giulia remains United States champion as WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas approaches, with Stratton potentially earning a Mania appearance.
WWE star Giulia revealed on social media that she actually peed herself after a risky top-rope Swanton from Tiffany Stratton during a March 27, 2026 non-title SmackDown, underscoring the physical toll of high-risk spots in wrestling.

Giulia quickly made a strong impression in WWE by winning the Women's US Championship on SmackDown, signaling WWE's intention to groom her as a top star and indicating a significant push for her future in the company.
