Montgomery County officer-involved shooting ends in 22-year-old’s death, investigation underway
A 22-year-old man, Glenwood Earl Pysher IV, was shot and killed by an Upper Pottsgrove Township police officer after a 911 call about a possible break-in on Snyder Road; prosecutors say an encounter occurred behind the home and Pysher was killed. His mother says he went to the wrong backyard, was unarmed, and had been on the phone with friends when the shooting happened; the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office is investigating and will update as it proceeds.
