Attenborough's 100th birthday sparks 11 nature recovery zones across Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust designates 11 nature recovery zones spanning about 50,000 hectares to restore habitats, reintroduce native species such as the Eurasian beaver, and create wildlife corridors beyond reserves as part of Mission Wild, inspired by Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday; the trust aims to raise £3m to fund the initiative.
