Polish-Ukrainian grain dispute sparks political turmoil.
Polish grain producers threaten to disrupt President Zelenskyy's visit if the government fails to halt the inflow of Ukrainian grain into the Polish market. The EU established Solidarity Lanes to facilitate grain exports from Ukraine, which ended up affecting grain prices for local farmers in Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria. The Agriculture Ministry and representatives of the farmers' movement signed a joint agreement aimed at halting the excessive inflow of grain from Ukraine and compensating grain producers for their losses, but farmers claim that the minister has implemented none of the promises.
