Severe Weather Threat and Heat Advisory: Stay Safe and Prepared

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Halifax County, specifically Enfield, Halifax, and Scotland Neck areas, with recorded lightning strikes and strong winds. The week will continue with hot temperatures and elevated humidity, with a cold front approaching and increasing the threat of severe storms.
