Lawsuit Claims Woman Found Human Finger in Chopt Salad
A woman is suing the Chop't salad chain after allegedly finding a portion of an employee's severed finger mixed into her salad. Allison Cozzi visited the Mt. Kisco, NY location in April and claims she chewed on the finger while eating her meal. The complaint states that a manager had accidentally chopped off a piece of their finger earlier that day while cutting arugula. The contaminated arugula was then served to customers. Cozzi is accusing the restaurant of negligence and is seeking compensation for her injuries. The restaurant had previously been cited for health code violations.
