The Storm Prediction Center issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Ozarks, including several counties in Missouri and Arkansas, until 4 a.m. The KY3 First Alert Weather team is tracking a line of storms with heavy winds and large hail. Residents are advised to stay ahead of the storms with the KY3 First Alert Weather app.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for most of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties from late tonight through Wednesday afternoon, warning of extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers. The city has already seen close to double its average annual rainfall, with forecasts putting rainfall from the coming storm at 1-3 inches, with snow possible above 3500 feet and 2-5 feet of powder expected above 6,000 feet. Heavy winds of 40-60 mph are also expected, with travel being very difficult to impossible.
