Samsung is rumored to redesign the Galaxy Z Fold 8’s hinge to significantly reduce the crease on its foldable display, with early leaks suggesting crease performance could rival the Oppo Find N6. Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 may have a hinge redesign that allows the screens to lie flat when folded, eliminating the gap between the dual screens. Leaked images from tech site MySmartPrice show the Z Fold 5 with the two halves of the screen sitting flush parallel when folded. Samsung has not commented on the rumors, but is expected to unveil the next generation of its foldable phones at its Galaxy Unpacked event in South Korea next month.
