Macklemore Petitioned to Exit Ed Sheeran Tour After Palestine Plea
Macklemore opened for Ed Sheeran at MetLife Stadium and onstage yelled “Free Palestine,” prompting backlash from the Israeli-American Council and a petition asking that he be removed from remaining Ed Sheeran tour dates. He also performed his pro-Palestine track Hind’s Hall and spoke about safety and peace. The petition questions whether the tour should host political messaging on its platform and asks tour leadership to clarify approval and boundaries for such content.
