iOS 27 Adds Real-Time Scam-Detection for iPhone Apps
iOS 27 introduces Impersonation Risk Detection, a real-time scam-prevention feature that analyzes device and Apple Account data to assign a risk level (Unknown/Medium/High) to apps and prompt follow-up actions; it's off by default and must be enabled in Settings > Privacy & Security > Impersonation Risk Detection > Share with App Developers, with availability limited to supported apps.
