GM to roll out a built-in AI assistant deeply integrated with cars this year
GM plans to launch its own native, deeply integrated in-vehicle AI later this year, built with an unnamed large language model provider and tied into vehicle knowledge and OnStar data to offer predictive maintenance, telemetry, and auto-focused features that go beyond Google’s Gemini. The system aims to better understand the vehicle and driver needs, enabling more personalized and seamless ownership.
