General admission tickets are sold out; viewing is limited to Stars or Stripes areas, while Champion’s Club weekend passes (~$5,500) remain available. Travel advisories include extensive road closures and recommended Metro use; eight nearby stations are served, and Reagan National will halt flights for three hours Sunday. Security will be heavy with airport-style checks; bags must be clear and drones, coolers, balloons, alcohol, outside food, and selfie sticks are banned. Drones prohibited; water in empty bottles is allowed; cooling stations and on-site concessions will be provided; outside beverages are not allowed. Penske runs most event costs; manholes along the track have been welded to prevent hazards, a process to be reversed after the races.
