Partner details fragmented care failures after Denver man's suicide
Jeff Trowbridge, partner of Ian Horner, has compiled extensive medical records to document how Colorado's fragmented mental health system failed to provide sustained care for Horner, who died by suicide in January 2025. Despite trying 17 medications and multiple therapies, Horner faced disjointed treatments, insurance delays, and a lack of coordination among providers. Trowbridge argues that the system's inability to connect care levels left a highly motivated patient without the support needed to survive.
