Intel plans the next Raptor Lake refresh, 'Raptor Lake Next,' for the LGA1700 socket in 2027, aiming to keep DDR4 compatibility amid DDR5 pricing pressures, potentially using a new Core Series 3 numbering without the Ultra branding; top SKU could be 8P+8E with varied cache, targeting entry-to-performance segments and avoiding direct competition with the Nova Lake-S Core Ultra lineup.
Lenovo introduces a refreshed LOQ 15 lineup at CES 2024, featuring Intel Core i7-14700HX and AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processors, as well as entry-level options with Alder Lake Core i5-12450HX. The lineup includes four variants with common features such as a 15.6-inch QHD+ 165 HZ G-Sync display, up to 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSDs, and 60 WHr battery. The AMD variant, LOQ 15AHP9, will not be available in North America but will launch in EMEA in March 2024. The Intel-based models will be available in April 2024, starting from US$749.
MECHREVO has unveiled the imini Pro, one of the first mini PCs powered by Intel's 14th-gen Core chip based on the new Meteor Lake architecture. The compact computer features up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory, WiFi 6, and an aluminum alloy case with active cooling. It is equipped with a 14-core, 18-thread Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor and Intel Arc graphics with 7 Xe cores. The MECHREVO imini Pro supports Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A, and dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports. The mini PC is expected to be available in China starting January 11, 2024, with prices starting at 4,499 CNY ($635).
