"Michigan's Largest Free Stargazing Event Offers Close-Up Views of Moon and Saturn's Rings"
Michigan's largest public astronomy and space science gathering, "Astronomy at the Beach," will take place at Island Lake State Recreation Area in Brighton on September 22 and 23. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the moon, Saturn's rings, and other celestial wonders through over 40 giant telescopes. The event will also feature a NASA Artemis exhibition, a space object scavenger hunt for kids, laser-guided constellation tours, and presentations on next year's total solar eclipse. The event is free and open to all ages.
