Sinner Seals Rome Triumph, Completes Masters 1000 Sweep
Jannik Sinner defeated Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-2 in the Italian Open final to win his sixth consecutive Masters 1000 title and become only the second man ever to win all nine Masters 1000 events, behind Novak Djokovic. The Rome victory also marks the first Italian Open title for a men’s singles champion in 50 years, and with Alcaraz injured, Sinner enters Roland Garros as the clear favorite as he pursues a potential Career Grand Slam.
