Devastating Nepal Earthquake Claims Over 100 Lives
A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck a remote part of northwestern Nepal, killing at least 129 people and injuring 140 others. The quake, the deadliest since 2015, toppled multiple buildings and caused widespread damage. Rescue efforts are underway, but officials fear the death toll could rise as they have not been able to establish contact in the hilly area near the epicenter. India has expressed solidarity with Nepal and offered assistance.
