
Jamal Adams’ season-ending quad tear shifts Vikings’ plans toward leadership from the sidelines
Jamal Adams tore the right quadriceps tendon in Minnesota’s preseason win over the Giants, ending his season and prompting knee/quad surgery. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said Adams will have the repair and remain with the team throughout the season to provide leadership and mentorship as the Vikings add depth, including signing cornerback Bryce Phillips.
