Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Confirm Adoption of Rescued Shih Tzu Named Javi
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have officially adopted a four-month-old Shih Tzu named Javi, formerly known as Lucas. The couple confirmed the adoption on the October 13 episode of 'Live with Kelly and Mark,' following an introduction of the puppy during 'Adoption Week' on October 12. The dog was rescued from a puppy mill and is described as affectionate. Ripa and Consuelos are currently waiting for medical tests before bringing Javi home, where he will join their existing dog, Lena. This adoption follows the death of their previous dog, Chewie, in February 2025.
