Devastating Tornadoes Claim 10 Lives in Eastern China
Two tornadoes have caused the deaths of ten people and significant damage in two cities in China's eastern Jiangsu province. The tornadoes struck Suqian and Yancheng, resulting in fatalities, injuries, and the destruction of homes. These extreme weather events are unusual for this time of year but have been attributed to higher temperatures and strong weather conditions. Scientists warn that unless global reliance on fossil fuels is reduced, such extreme weather events will continue to occur with increasing frequency and severity.
