Surviving partner charged with murder in Chino Hills kidnapping-killing case
A murder charge was filed against Jianquan Bo, the surviving passenger in the Chino Hills kidnapping-killing case, for allegedly participating in a plan to abduct and kill Shukur Aikebaer alongside his brother Zhengfeng Bo. Prosecutors say Jianquan Bo knew what the plan was and aided the crime, with a special-circumstance kidnapping allegation that could enable a death-penalty option. The victim—identified as a husband and father of three—had business ties with the suspects, who were involved in related lawsuits. Jianquan Bo remains in custody without bail and is due for arraignment as the case advances.
