Tragic Racing Accident Results in Organ Donation and Loss of Young Driver's Life.
Justin Owen, a 26-year-old sprint car racer, died in a crash at Lawrenceburg Speedway. His father, Scott Owen, says his son's death will help 80 people as he was an organ donor. Justin had just been promoted at his sales job, was engaged, and had won the Lawrenceburg championship in 2022. Racing was his passion, and he had been racing since he was six years old. Scott wants people to remember Justin for the way he made people laugh and brightened every room he entered.
