
DC Prosecutor Targets Parents in Curfew Crackdown Over Teens
DC U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced her office will pursue charges against parents for their teens' curfew violations as part of a crackdown on so-called 'teen takeovers,' noting that while youths cannot be charged for curfew violations by this office, parents can be charged under local statute 22-811 and that enforcement follows a broader city and federal effort to curb violence.
