Maye Sparks Patriots OTAs with Flashes and Fine-Tuning
Drake Maye flashed arm talent on the Patriots’ second OTA, connecting on a deep middle throw and several completions while missing an out route that was picked off by Karon Prunty; Caleb Lomu rotated at right tackle as Alijah Vera-Tucker sat out portions of team periods. Defensively, Prunty’s interception and pass breakups by Kindle Vildor and K.J. Britt stood out, and receivers Romeo Doubs and Kyle Williams contributed in a veteran-heavy group. The session underscored the continued push to expand the offense under Josh McDaniels ahead of the next OTA on June 2.
