Prime Video Drops Aubrey Plaza’s Kevin Animated Series
Amazon Prime Video has canceled the animated series Kevin, co-created by Aubrey Plaza, who announced the news on Instagram and called it disappointing. The show, about a cat who bonds with other animals at a Queens pet rescue, stars Jason Schwartzman and features voices from Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Amy Sedaris and Aparna Nancherla; all eight episodes premiered on Prime Video on April 20. Plaza reflected on shifts in the TV industry, contrasting the cancellation with past NBC support for Parks and Rec.
