"2022 Deadly Blaze Site Threatened as Northern California Fire Forces Evacuations"
Evacuations have been ordered in Northern California as a wildfire, known as the Head Fire, rapidly spreads through the Klamath National Forest near the site of a deadly blaze in 2022. The fire, fueled by gusty winds from thunderstorms, has grown to an estimated size of 4.7 to 6.3 square miles. Multiple lightning-caused fires have also been reported in other parts of Northern California, although most have been quickly contained.
