"India's Unique Solution: Life-Size Langur Cutouts Tackle Monkey Menace at G20 Summit"
In preparation for the G20 summit in New Delhi, India, life-size cutouts of langurs have been erected and "monkey-men" have been hired to deter rhesus monkeys from damaging floral displays and causing havoc in the city. The langurs, a natural enemy of the smaller primates, have been effective in scaring away the monkeys. Additionally, authorities have provided food to monkeys in forested areas to prevent them from venturing beyond boundaries. This is not the first time langurs have been used to address the monkey problem during major events in New Delhi.
