Mass. High Court Orders New Trial in Mother's 2018 Voodoo Killings Tied to Clancy Judge
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court vacated Latarsha Sanders' 2022 two-count first-degree murder convictions in the 2018 deaths of her sons, ruling that the trial was prejudiced by excluding mental-health records and by unfounded testimony linking the case to a TV show. A new trial is ordered to be held in Plymouth Superior Court before Judge William Sullivan, the same judge overseeing Lindsay Clancy's case.
