NFL imposes second fine on Texans linebacker for pro-Palestinian eye black
The NFL has fined Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair $11,941 for displaying the name of Hind Rajab on his eye black during the team's Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills. This marks the second such sanction for Al-Shaair, following a January fine for writing 'Stop the Genocide' on his gear. The league cited Rule 6, Section 4, Article 8, which prohibits personal messages without prior approval. Al-Shaair is not expected to appeal the penalty, which will be deducted from his next game check.
