Boston Protesters Demand End to Liberty Mutual's 'Biberty' Mascot Amid Viral Backlash
Dozens of demonstrators gathered outside Liberty Mutual’s Boston headquarters on Sunday to protest the company’s new yellow mascot, Liberty Biberty. The rally, organized by 19-year-old content creator Connor Harvey, followed a viral YouTube video that garnered over 600,000 views. While protesters criticized the character as annoying and lazy, Liberty Mutual’s marketing chief stated that the intense public engagement, including negative reactions, has boosted brand awareness and attention metrics above industry averages.
