The Bay Area is experiencing a Level 3 storm with the worst winds expected around 3-4 p.m. today, with gusts along the coast in excess of 60 mph. San Mateo county into the Santa Cruz Mountains is under a High Wind Warning, which could bring down trees and cause outages. The North Bay is not under any warnings or advisories. The Greater Lake Tahoe Area is under a Winter Storm Warning through Wednesday morning, with snowfall of 6-24" and winds gusting up to 75 mph. Light rain is possible at the end of the week with a potentially cold weekend to follow.
