A new study by researchers at the University of Arizona reveals that climate change is causing extinctions to occur at an accelerating rate. The study focused on the Yarrow's spiny lizard populations in southeastern Arizona and found that about half of the lizard populations at lower elevations had disappeared over the past seven years.
