Laugh Therapy May Ease COPD Breathing in a Low-Cost Trial
A Turkish randomized study with 63 COPD patients found that laughter therapy, delivered as playful exercises and laughter routines for 30 minutes three times a week over eight weeks, improves breathing and overall health—comparable to pursed-lip breathing—with benefits lasting about a month after the program, suggesting a low-cost, home-friendly adjunct to COPD care.
