Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft prepped for July launch from India's spaceport.
India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has arrived at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in preparation for its July launch. The spacecraft will attempt a controlled soft-landing on the lunar surface and in-situ analysis by means of a rover. The spacecraft was transported in a specialised truck from the UR Rao Satellite Centre in Bengaluru to the spaceport. The Chandrayaan-3 mission will only carry a Lunar lander, rover and propulsion module, unlike its predecessor which carried an orbiter, lander and rover.
