Boutte, Brown and Hollins lift Patriots in camp; Jones and Ponder pressure on defense
At Tuesday’s ninth Patriots practice, Kayshon Boutte led the deep‑ball group with five catches, while A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins added four apiece as Drake Maye and Tommy DeVito built trust with the receivers; Brown looked sharp returning from a dislocated thumb. Terrell Jennings returned to top the backfield rotation with the second‑string unit, and Dre’Mont Jones and Elijah Ponder provided pressure up front. Channing Canada had a rough day in coverage, Kobee Minor showed progress, and kicker Andy Borregales went 7-for-7 on field goals. Joshua Farmer stood out on defense ahead of Wednesday’s walkthrough.
